America has always been a football-crazy country, and within that dynamic, the South takes that passion to another level. There’s no better example of that feel than right here in Jackson County, Mississippi.
Starting on or around August 1, all the fields in the Tucker Street area will begin to be demolished, as part of a master plan by the City of Pascagoula to create a new, state-of-the-art youth baseball complex in that part of town.
What some may not remember and many may not know is that the 1968 PHS baseball team also won the state title, giving ‘Goula a rare back-to-back champion honor.
