The days are gradually getting longer, and the temps are getting a little bit warmer. That can mean only one thing— spring is on the way. With this wonderful season looming, it’s a great time to get outdoors and enjoy one of the most fun seasons in Mississippi — the spring festival season!

To help make your plans for the next couple of months, here are a few of the top spring festivals in Mississippi. Get out your calendar now and mark down these important dates for some festival fun that you do not want to miss.

    March

Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival: The Hub City invites you to the 10th edition of this signature event for the city as it showcases the huge enthusiasm around the developing industry and hobby of craft beer on March 9. There will also be delectable food pairings from local food trucks.

Art in the Park: You’re invited to enjoy some art at the Lions Club Park in Clinton on March 23. There will be talented artists and artisans featuring a variety of their beautiful creations. Plus, there will be lots of interactive arts and crafts for the kids.

Casey Jones Blues Festival: Head to Water Valley on March 23 to enjoy the inaugural event of this fest. Music will reign supreme as there will be a stellar lineup of accomplished local blues artists, including Effie Burt, The Harrell Brothers, Libby Rae Watson, Garry Burnside, and the headliner will be Mr. Sipp who was nominated in the “Best Traditional Blues Album” category in the 2024 Grammy Awards.

Hubfest: Head to downtown Hattiesburg for one of the biggest events in the state on March 23. There will be lots of great arts and crafts, delicious food, and wonderful music throughout the downtown district all day. This free event offers four stages of music and over 250 vendors with fabulous finds and foods.

Spring Fling at Landrum’s Homestead and Village: Come enjoy the wonderful spring season in Laurel on March 23 where there will be something for everyone to enjoy. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to take pictures, and the kids will enjoy pony rides and the petting zoo. There will be arts and crafts vendors, delicious food offerings, and so much more!

Ocean Springs Arts Festival: From March 23-24, come enjoy the beauty of Ocean Springs and all the talented artists that will converge on this charming town. There will be festival demonstrations on growing your own plants, making healthy dog treats, and pottery demonstrations. And of course, there will be fabulous art and music for everyone to enjoy.

Hometown Spring Fling: Brandon hosts two days of incredible shopping fun on March 29-30. At the Brandon City Hall, top boutiques and shops in the area will be featuring their goods for purchase. There will be adorable clothing, jewelry, home décor, art, and so much more.

    April

Art in the Pass: Enjoy the beauty of the beautiful views of this gorgeous coastal town April 6-7 as you get to view the fine arts that the fest has to offer. Typically, the fest features over 100 artists from 10 states and visitors from the Florida Coast to Baton Rouge. There will be great food, music, and wonderful Southern hospitality.

Annual Spring Street Festival: Head to Picayune for the 59th edition of this semi-annual event April 6-7. There will be entertainment on two stages, arts and crafts, fabulous foods, shopping galore, and lots of fun for the whole family. The Blvd. Classic Car Show is one of the highlights of the event.
