Many college students and families head to the beaches of Florida or Alabama  for Spring Break, but many come to Mississippi too!

Here are some tips if you’re headed to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Enjoy fun in the sun anytime this spring when signing up for a kayaking or canoeing excursion with Affordable Boat Adventures; if you enjoy fishing, head to the Bernard Bayou.

Experience a Biloxi Shrimping Trip, ideal for families or groups of friends traveling together. Treat the kids to a day at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center; they’ll enjoy hours and hours of creative fun, both inside and outside!

Are you seeking some more adventure with a view? Try parasailing above the coast with Parasail Adventures. The Chill Ultra Lounge, just like its name, is the perfect place to chill with friends in the evenings.

Immerse yourself in the beauty of Davis Bayou and the Gulf Islands National Seashore, both located in Ocean Springs. Relax on the water while paddleboarding kayaking with a rental from Paddles Up.

Better yet, have one of the expert guides from Islander Outfitters take your spring break crew on a wildlife tour through the bayou! Watch out for the alligators!

Gulfport is home to several vacation rentals, plus the ever-famous Ship Island. Head out to sea on a dolphin tour with Ship Island Excursions, and spend the day exploring the island. With plenty of trails to hike and bird watching too.

The waterfront promenade in Jones Park is a must-see for all visitors. At the same time, families and children will enjoy touring The Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Museum.

Many spring breakers will enjoy the themed parties at various local bars when evening rolls around. Be sure to take a pause and look out at the breathtaking sunsets too.

Whether you’re a family with school-aged children or a college student on vacation, the coast is the perfect place for Spring Break. With gorgeous views, delicious food, and plenty to do, you are sure to enjoy yourself!

The Mississippi Gulf Coast is ready for Spring Breakers! Bring on the sunshine, sunscreen, and aloe vera!
