The very talented professional World Ballet Series in all its exceptional glory will bring all the magic and fantasy to life in the beloved holiday seasonal tradition: “The Nutcracker.” Based on the fairy tale written by E.T.A. Hoffman, “The Nutcracker” comes to life with the combination of the exquisite and timeless music of Pyotry Illyich Tchaikovsky and the choreography of Marius Petipa, inviting guests into this enchanted holiday fantasy world that delights the young and the young at heart during this blessed Christmas season.

During this magical Christmas night fantasy dream, guests are escorted into this enchanted world as Clara, the main character that is heartbroken because the beautiful and finely crafted nutcracker gift that was given to her by her favorite uncle, Master Drosslemeyer, is broken in a squabble with her young brother. As Clara lays down with tears in her eyes after trying to mend her treasured present, the Nutcracker soldier comes to life to battle off the treachery of an army of evil rats led by the Mouse King that attempt to take over the manor after the mystical Christmas Eve gala at Clara’s home is over that magical Christmas Eve night.

It is a tense and breathtaking fight between the Nutcracker soldier and the Mouse King and his army, but as it should be, the good overcomes the evil as the Nutcracker and his squad defeat the despiteful Mouse King and his minions. After the triumphant battle by the Nutcracker, Clara and her hero and guests are magically transported into the fairylike Land of Sweets. Everyone is treated to the charming “The Waltz of Flowers” and “The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” that will bring a special light to all eyes during this very special time of the year. Clara and the Nutcracker are treated to many special sugary delicacies while they are entertained by the talented and amusing performances brought for their pleasure from dancers throughout the world.
