Ship Island Excursions
Last but not least, the Ship Island Excursion offers a sunset cocktail cruise, a dolphin-watching cruise, and the Ship Island Ferry. As of right now, only the Dolphin and Sunset Cruises are being offered as the National Park Service closed Ship Island to visitors as they repair tropical storm damage to the pier. There is no known date at this time of when they will resume the ferry. The sunset cocktail cruise aboard the M/V Capt Pete runs Friday and Saturday nights through November 6. It is a two-hour cruise that offers a full bar and departs at 7 pm. Enjoy sunset views over Gulfport and Biloxi while listening to music offered by Tri Star DJ Services. No outside food or drinks are allowed, and guests must be 21 years of age or older. Arrive 30 minutes before departure time and there is limited capacity due to COVID-19. The Dolphin Cruise is a 90-minute excursion that runs at 1 and 4 pm on Saturdays and 4 pm on weekdays. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the website. The boat departs from the Ship Island dock in Gulfport, located at 1040 23rd Avenue.
