The celebration will be year long and will focus on five core concepts.

This beautiful city was the first place Coca-Cola was bottled in 1894. Vicksburg is home to roughly 21,560 citizens and piques the interest of millions of tourists who seek to explore and learn more about Vicksburg’s impact.
What to Expect at the Celebration
This celebration will last throughout 2025 and will focus on five core themes:

- Art and Culture
- Lifestyle
- Government and Military
Each of these themes encapsulates the culture and lifestyle that Vicksburg upholds. It is a place that values those who inhabit it. It holds two major rivers (the Yazoo River and the Tallahatchie River). With the bicentennial celebration being this year, Vicksburg will see even more economic success.
