Under the Stars for a Cause: JABOS Unveils 2025 “Gala for the Kids” at Beau Rivage

Mark your calendars for a night of magic and meaning. On June 28, 2025, the Junior Auxiliary of Biloxi-Ocean Springs (JABOS) will host its signature event, the Gala for the Kids, at the luxurious Beau Rivage Casino & Resort in Biloxi. This year’s theme, Fireflies and Starry Nights – Shining Bright for the Kids, promises an evening of elegance, community, and heartfelt purpose.

But this isn’t just another glittering gala—it’s the lifeline for one of the Gulf Coast’s most impactful nonprofits. As a 501(c)(3) organization, JABOS has spent decades building a legacy of service powered by its mission: “Caring Hearts. Helping Hands. Changing Lives.” With over 100 active and provisional members, JABOS devotes thousands of volunteer hours to improving the lives of local children and families across Biloxi, D’Iberville, Ocean Springs, St. Martin, Woolmarket, and Vancleave.

Over the past year alone, JABOS has reached more than 30,000 children through 10 hands-on service projects, ranging from school supply drives and literacy programs to emotional support initiatives and emergency family aid. Their 4,000+ hours of service reflect a relentless dedication to meeting the evolving needs of the community.

The annual gala is the organization’s only fundraiser, and its success is critical. Every dollar raised on this special night helps fund the entire year’s worth of programs. In other words, it’s not just a party—it’s the fuel that keeps compassion moving forward.

JABOS invites everyone—local businesses, civic leaders, families, and friends—to join in the celebration. Whether you become a sponsor, donate an item for the silent auction, buy a raffle ticket, or simply show up dressed to the nines, your contribution plays a vital role in changing lives.

To learn more about the Gala, explore sponsorship opportunities, or discover how you can help shine a light in a child’s life, visit www.jabos.org or jabos2025.givesmart.com.

So come, step into a night lit by fireflies and stars. Together, let’s shine bright—for the kids.
