The newest hot spot in Biloxi, Ground Zero Blues Club is a hit. There are so many wonderful things to say about this venue, the staff is super friendly, the food is simple and tasty, best of all the music grabs you and will have your feet tapping.

You’ll walk in and feel right at home. The tall-ceiling open design, the top-notch festive Blues artwork, the framed and mounted guitars make for a casual fun atmosphere. The space is set for you to meet plenty of friends or go with a date.

“Fun, we are having fun,” said a few locals enjoying the music, “The music is smooth.” One of the women commented on how cute the band members are, until she remembered who she came with, her new boyfriend. Everyone in the place was enjoying the party scene.

The band performing, Michael Vincent and Choo Choo Charlie, offered something for everyone with the sweet sounds of The Blues. They played classics and told stories behind their originals.

Ground Zero Blues Club Biloxi offers an excellent atmosphere for musicians. There is a casualness about the open space. The stage is set so there is a connection between the performers and the audience. As you drink and eat at the tables, you feel like you are part of the show.

An added highlight is when the band takes a break, there is a large screen that rocks-out music videos of The Blues and Rock n Roll Classics. The musical energy never stops!

Morgan Freeman, star and actor, is part owner along with Lee Young. This is their second club, the first is in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The Blues live-on in both, and we thank them for that. Ground Zero is and will be an important part of the growth of downtown Biloxi.
