The Biloxi Shuckers, Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, announced a partnership with Hancock Whitney on Thursday for the Mississippi Coast based bank to be title sponsor for two games between Mississippi State and Texas Tech at MGM Park in 2020. The newly named “Hancock Whitney Classic” will take place at MGM Park on March 10 and 11 between the two perennial college powerhouses.

After announcing that they will play a pair of games at MGM Park in 2020, the Mississippi State Bulldogs will now match up against the Texas Tech Red Raiders for two games on March 10 and 11.

Six members of the 2019 Biloxi Shuckers have been named MiLB.com Organizational All-Stars for the Milwaukee Brewers. The Shuckers have now produced 29 MiLB.com Organizational All-Stars in their five years in Biloxi.

Biloxi Shuckers Corporate Partnerships Coordinator Stephanie Chapman has been awarded the Women in Baseball Leadership Scholarship, one of four scholarship recipients among female executives in Minor League Baseball. Chapman was selected for the scholarship from a pool of female executives from various levels and leagues across Minor League Baseball.
