The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art will host George Ohr’s 169th Birthday Bash on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM, with a free day of live music, art, family fun, and community celebration on the museum campus.
The event honors Biloxi’s own George Ohr, known as the “Mad Potter,” and celebrates what would have been his 169th birthday. Guests can enjoy live performances by Symone French, TG Blues, and The Terrapins, along with a Maker’s Market, a Ceramic Pop-Up, art activities, games, and more.
George Ohr’s Birthday Bash is free and open to the public and offers a lively way for families, artists, and visitors to come together in celebration of local creativity and one of Mississippi’s most original cultural figures.
