7 Brew drive-thru coffee will open a location at 1150 Evelyn Gandy Parkway in Petal in late August as part of the company’s expansion efforts, marking its 19th location in Mississippi.

Once completed, the location is expected to create between 75 and 80 jobs, according to Chris Sebald, chief development officer for 7 Brew.

The opening continues the company’s rapid growth in Mississippi and nationwide. The brand had only two stands in Mississippi toward the end of 2023, according to QSR magazine. Nationwide, 7 Brew has grown from 38 stands in January 2023 to more than 700 across 38 states today, according to the company.

Sebald said the company’s people, drive-thru model and products set the brand apart from other coffee shops in the area.

“Our model allows for human-to-human interaction from the time we take your order to the time your drink is picked up,” he said. “We are also the fastest in the business.”

Sebald said 7 Brew offers a variety of espresso-based drinks, teas, cold brew, lemonades, shakes and smoothies. In total, more than 22,000 drink combinations will be available.

The Petal location also plans to be active in the community. Ahead of its grand opening, the stand is expected to serve about 3,000 drinks per day through business deliveries and promotional events, according to Sebald.

One of those events will be Caffeine for a Cause, which will feature an open drive-thru with a limited drink menu. Customers will be asked to “pay what you want,” with all proceeds benefiting a charity that will be announced at a later date.
