Mississippi, it’s time to get moving. Let’s increase our physical movement, improve our eating habits, and make ourselves healthier and happier!

The Mississippi State University Extension Service invites everyone to join the Magnolia Moves Activity Challenge, a free six-week exercise and nutrition program.

When you download the MoveSpring app and add the organization code MSUEXT426, you’ll be able to sync your digital device to automatically track your activity. You’ll also get a real-time view of your progress and achievements: You’ll set your own pace, track your activity, and get more active in a fun, interactive way.

An alternative to the app is a desktop version available through any web browser that will allow everyone the chance to participate.

Registration is open for individuals and teams, and the program will kick off this Monday, April 20, and continue through May 31. Even if you missed our start date, you can still register and track your progress.

Not only will Extension hold weekly prize drawings for participation across five different age categories, all participants will receive nutrition tips, video links, and healthy living resources. Also, 4-H’ers and other youth can count hours toward the Congressional Award.

Moving more and eating better will benefit you, your friends and family, and the entire great state of Mississippi. Participants can choose to compete individually or join a team to turn the experience into a fun and friendly challenge with friends.

Join Extension’s Magnolia Moves Activity Challenge today and let’s get moving together!

Register or learn more here, or email [email protected] if you have any questions.
