It’s Mississippi Braves vs. Birmingham Barons this Week at Trustmark Park

Alright, Mississippi Braves fans, you absolutely don’t want to miss out on all the summertime baseball fun scheduled for this week, July 9-14, at Trustmark Park, located at 1 Braves Boulevard in Pearl, Mississippi.

That’s right! Our Mississippi Braves are welcoming the Birmingham Barons to six MiLB matchups this week, Tuesday through Sunday. And it’s the perfect time to catch some of the baseball action.

We can all agree that it’s truly the dog days of summer! So, on Tuesday night, July 9, at 6:35 p.m., Trustmark Park is celebrating by inviting well-behaved and well-socialized dogs (and their people) to the game to enjoy some giveaways and to visit doggie vendors. And of course, hot dogs are only $2.00! Plus, Ian Mejio is the projected Braves pitcher for the night.

On Wednesday, July 10, at 6:35 p.m., it’s all about our Mississippi First Responders! In fact, first responders and emergency personnel are offered free field-level or general admission tickets to the game, featuring Braves’ pitcher Lucas Braun. It’s a win-win night for everyone when we celebrate our First Responders.

For Ole Miss fans, Thursday, July 11, at 6:35 p.m., is the perfect night to go and watch the Braves – all decked out in Rebel gear, of course! The first 333 entrants over the age of 21 will also receive a free Trucker Cap to go with their red, white, and blue night of celebration for the Braves and the Rebels. Plus, fans get to see left-handed pitcher Luis De Avila in action.

Friday night’s 6:35 p.m. game is packed full of fun. The first 1,000 fans through the gate on July 12 will get a Ronald Acuna MVP Bobblehead. Drue Hackenberg is the probable pitcher for the night, and the fun will continue even after the game. Ten lucky contestants will compete in the Trustmark $10,000 Dash for Cash. If that’s not enough fun, the kids will be allowed to run the bases just like their baseball heroes!

David Flecther is the slated pitcher for the Saturday night game, July 13, in which the Braves will celebrate the businesses and leaders of Florence, Mississippi, with a designated Florence Community Night. Keep in mind that the action starts a little earlier Saturday night, at 6:05 p.m. And make sure to stick around for the post-game fireworks as well.

This wonderful week of baseball fun will end Sunday afternoon, July 14, with the final game starting at 2:05 p.m. It’s also a “Join Us 4 A Jackson” Sunday, which means that attendees can purchase four (4) field-level tickets and four (4) fountain drinks for only $20. But get there early to be one of the first 1,000 people through the gates at Trustmark Park and receive a free team photograph of the 2024 Mississippi Braves. It will be a collector’s item for sure, with our beloved Braves moving to Columbus, Georgia, for the 2025 season.

In fact, after this weeklong battle against the Birmingham Barons, the Mississippi Braves only have four more home series left in the 2024 season – one more scheduled for July and two slated for August. Then, sadly, the grand finale series of this M-Brave season at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi, will take place September 3-8, 2024, against the Tennessee Smokies.

For more information or to purchase tickets, visit mississippibraves.com or call 888-BRAVES4.
