Settle down, and listen up. Usually, I’d say let’s meet up at the local pub and listen to these rocking local bands. But, the next best thing is to stream and/or download this music from your phone, laptop, and even televisions. Here is a short list of original Gulf Coast music to fill your day – part one of a longer list. For now, take in a few talented Gulf Coast musical artists.

Madison Grace, a young special voice. A delightful voice, music to let your mind relax and will lift your spirits. From Alabama, just breathe easy, and listen to Madison Grace.

The Tall Boys, these boys deliver their own cleaver, witty, irreverent style to a rocking country sound. This year’s winners of the 2020 Covey Award, Favorite Local County Band. Don’t wait, just listen to Willie, Curtis and Johnny Ponytail. Their foot stomping bar band sounds will get you hooked. The Tall Boys are out of Jackson County, Mississippi.

The Chitlins, a spirited Rock n Roll and Blues band. Songs that take you back to the original Rock sounds. Everytime I Roll the Dice and Home Wrecker are a must listen to, but kick back and hear them all. The Chitlins out of Gulfport, Mississippi.

Sarah Peacock, rich sounds, cool originals, dynamic country music. A top rated talent. After you hear her, you’ll be looking for Sarah’s next play date on the coast. There are so many wonderful songs, and albums. Burn the Witch is her latest album. Just dive in, and experience Sarah Peacock.

Deltaphonic, this two member band blasts out a powerful Blues and New Orleans style. The well-developed sounds explode with energy and originality. A must listen to is See Red. These boys have just gotten back from a European tour. Rock out at home with Deltaphonic from New Orleans.

You can find and stream these artists in many ways, such as YouTube, ReverbNation, Facebook, to name a few. The links provided take you to www.Spotify.com. Find the music and listen, anyway you can.

This is Part I as there are so many more bands. Take a moment to open your life to these wonderful artists. Enjoy music as you relax at home. We are so lucky here on the Mississippi Coast, what great music we make together.
