That was and continues to be the goal of my good friend Dr. Judy Dalgo, an avid outdoor enthusiast who decided to do something about it. Jackson George Regional Library System is hosting its annual Summer Library Program from June 1st to June 30th. The program includes a full schedule of events for all ages, with kick-off events at selected branches. The theme this year is “Adventure Begins at Your Library”, which is designed to encourage children to continue reading during the vacation so that valuable reading skills will not be lost. In addition, we hope to offer a variety of activities for children, teens, and adults. Families are encouraged to participate in the fun and learning activities together.
