Baldwyn, Mississippi is on the grow!

Now, for those who have not visited this small North Mississippi town lately, or for those who might not have ventured there yet, the growth is both exciting and enjoyable. And the latest welcomed addition to Baldwyn is also delicious.

Mae’s To-Go Cup (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61550786110883) officially opened a new location this past Tuesday, September 23, with only drive-thru service scheduled for its first week of Baldwyn business. This friendly coffee shop, with its homebase on Coley Road in Tupelo, is open for service from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Baldwyn customers were ready and waiting on Tuesday to get their morning cup of coffee and a nice breakfast treat.

Located at 917 North 4th Street in Baldwyn, Mae’s To-Go Cup offers a nice variety of coffees, smoothies, bagel bites, muffins, pastries, and other goodies. But even better than their awesome to-go cups and goodies is their welcoming hospitality. Truly, everyone feels right at home with the friendly staff of Mae’s To-Go Cup.

Owned by Matt and Sarah Anderson, the number one objective of Mae’s To-Go Cup is to let customers know and feel like they are more than a customer number on a cup of coffee. For the entire Anderson family, this business is about offering good coffee, good food, and making good friends.

Yep, Mae’s To-Go Cup does that really well. So, the next time you are near Baldwyn, stop in and grab a delicious latte and some amazing bagel bites. It will definitely be worth the trip.

And while you are there in Baldwyn, take the time to check out all the other shops and restaurants that this growing town has to offer. In fact, Balwyn Main Street Chamber has a very informative Facebook page to help you plan and navigate a fun-filled day in this quaint little town: (https://www.facebook.com/p/Baldwyn-Main-Street-Chamber-100080656629953/), or check out “baldwynliving” on Instagram.

There are some amazing boutiques and specialty stores to shop, such as Suan’s Flowers and Gifts, Southern Charm Boutique, The Tin Roof, Yesterdays Memories, The Vintage Vine Floral & Gifts, Xtreme Tan & Nails, Little Light of Mine, and Remnant Thrift, just to name a few.

And when it comes to good Mississippi food, the choices are plentiful and delicious, including Hometown Pizza, KJ’s Chicken Shack, Living Well, Simmer Down, and Fill My Cup has the sweetest (and cutest) homemade cookies.

Of course, any visit to Baldwyn requires a tour of the Brices Crossroads National Battlefield Site, as well as the museum at the Brices Crossroads Visitor and Interpretive Center.

Come to think of it, a day might not be enough time to take in all that this growing town has to offer. But the welcome mat is always out at Baldwyn, Mississippi, and Mae’s To-Go Cup is a great place to start every time you visit.
