Half Shell Oyster House

Half Shell Oyster House in Gulfport and Biloxi is home to what I consider to be a perfectly hand-crafted martini. My all-time favorite is the Pink Pearl Martini made with Pearl pomegranate vodka, Pama liquor, a splash of grapefruit juice, house-made sweet and sour mix, and topped off with a sugar rim. The Cajun Oyster Martini is great for bloody mary fans and made with Ketel One vodka, Zing Zang bloody mary mix poured on top of an oyster with a dash of horseradish, garnished with a Creole seasoned rim, lemon, and an olive. The Caramel Apple Martini is a great dessert martini, perfect to indulge in this time of year. Made with Smirnoff Caramel Kiss vodka, apple pucker, and sweet and sour, this one is garnished with a caramel apple slice.
