WaterWays Series Beauvior Restoration program at Mary C.

The public is invited to attend a free WaterWays Smithsonian program “Beauvior: Restoration after Katrina” at the Mary C. Cultural Center on Tuesday, October 23, at 6 p.m. Presenter Jay Peterson, curator at Beauvior in Biloxi will showcase the process of all restoration on the Beauvior property and the main house after the life-changing storm. He will cover architectural restoration, water damage to artifacts and more. See how this important landmark was brought back to life. The Macy C. is a community partner for programs supporting the Smithsonian WaterWays exhibit and is located at 1600 Government St. Ocean Springs.
