4 Things That Are Great to Eat in the Morning for Energy

Are you the person that when your feet hit the ground, you are ready to conquer the world? You have all the energy you need for the rest of the day. Or are you the person that the morning just drags so bad for when lunch comes you feel like the day should be over?

Is coffee your daily routine to get you going in the morning? Coffee is not a bad thing, but the donut or the pastry that you put with it is. This is not something that will give you energy and sure is not a way to keep that energy going. Yes, the donut or pastry is the easiest to grab in the morning, but it is also the easiest way to crash halfway through the day.

Here are 4 great foods to put in your morning routine to help with the energy boost. With that energy boost comes more productive days.

    Banana

The portable and consistent banana is still a top choice for energy. Bananas are not expensive. You have no excuse for not having time to make breakfast. They are a grab and go kinda breakfast. And not only that, they are still one of the best energy and nutrition sources around.

    Almonds

Another energy powerhouse. Besides being great for energy, one of their draws is the ability to lower cholesterol as well as lower the risk of heart disease and the risk of cancer. All you need is three fourths of a cup. This is another breakfast item that can be eaten on the go.

    Eggs

I know you are thinking: who in the world has time to cook eggs? Well, eggs can be boiled the night before. Boiled eggs are just as affected and are more convenient. If you are able to eat farm fresh eggs, that is your better option.

     Oatmeal

Another classic breakfast. Oatmeal can help lower cholesterol and blood pressure. I am not talking about the oatmeal with all the butter and whatever else you can find unhealthy. I am talking about plain oatmeal. If you are wanting it to taste better, put some fruit in it. Honey and peanut butter are a great way to make it for pure energy.

Do not be afraid to combine them together. Get the best out of your day and add some healthy energy. You can still drink the coffee, but do not forget to drink water that has not been heated and run over grounded up beans. Water is very important to our bodies. Mainly because about two thirds of our body is water. Water helps your body function at its peak level. It helps break down the food that you have eaten properly.

Set days that you will eat a healthy breakfast. This makes you think about it and also makes you plan your meals. People that say they don’t have time in the mornings are people who don’t plan ahead of time. Planning makes it easier to stick with a plan.
