Moss Point, MS. (10/16/2026) – – SINGING RIVER FEDERAL CREDIT UNION, headquartered in Moss Point, MS, has once again committed to raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer. This annual event is back for its 16th year and will be held on October 24th, beginning at 9am, where thousands of bras will be strung across the Moss Point bridge, beginning at Pelican Landing. SINGING RIVER FEDERAL CREDIT UNION is partnering with many local businesses including the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, the Jackson County Board of Supervisors & Ingalls Shipbuilding to make this event a success. The annual event donates all funds to the American Cancer Society & Singing River Health System Foundation where those funds support victims & families on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and increase research abilities to find a cure for this disease that affects so many.

Jimmy Smith, President / CEO of SINGING RIVER FEDERAL CREDIT UNION says, “Raising awareness & providing local support for breast cancer initiatives is a mission that touches all of us. Bras Across the River succeeds because of our community pouring its heart into making a real difference. We are profoundly grateful to our local business partners and supporters, and we invite everyone to stand with us again this year.”

This year, SINGING RIVER FEDERAL CREDIT UNION continues to grow the fundraising efforts by partnering with more local businesses and once again offering their famous pink debit cards, the bra decorating contest, as well as the annual Bras Across the River t-shirts for sale. Bras Across the River is a 501c3 organization. Visit www.srfcu.org or call 228.475.9531 for details and registration information.

SINGING RIVER FEDERAL CREDIT UNION has served the MS Gulf Coast since 1953 as a local community credit union. They continue to improve our communities with events and partnerships such as this that we all can take pride in and support.
