For the first time since the rumors started swirling, logistical information regarding Buc-ee’s coming to Mississippi has been released.

On Tuesday, Bill Lavers of the Harrison County Development Commission, in an appearance on the Gallo Show, provided an update on the world’s largest convenience store hitting the Gulf Coast.

“We passed legislation this past session to help pay for the interchange improvements on Menge Avenue, and we have a resolution tomorrow (Wednesday) at our meeting,” he said. “Then, it will get passed on to the board of supervisors for our support to bring them to the state of Mississippi.”

Lavers informed Our Mississippi Home via email that he is hoping the project will be completed within the next 18-24 months.

While you wait anxiously, check out these quick facts about the colossal convenience store.
