Kids and parents don’t spend a lot of time outdoors, meaning we don’t get to use our senses to explore. “Mr. Rick is an amazing educator. He has worked for many years dedicated to teaching the next generation about the habitats of the Grand Bay NERR, watersheds and water quality, and environmental stewardship. Mr. Rick has taught thousands of students in his years as a teacher, and inspired many young minds to think scientifically, and to care about their local community and habitats. We often have students tell us how they want to grow up to be educators because of Mr. Rick.”
