Internet provider Sparklight® has just launched “Connections That Give Back,” a charitable extension of its Refer-A-Friend program, benefiting Catholic Charities of South Mississippi Food Bank, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting food insecurity for individuals and families.
Through the program, the referring customer and their friend will each receive a $50 prepaid card when the friend signs up for Sparklight internet and remains connected for 30 days. For every successful customer referral in Gulfport and Biloxi, Sparklight will also donate $10 to Catholic Charities of South Mississippi Food Bank, guaranteeing a minimum contribution of $1,500 to support the organization.

“This campaign emphasizes the power of community,” said Charlie Oakes, Senior Regional Director, Gulf Coast Region. “By working together with our customers and Catholic Charities of South Mississippi Food Bank, we’re expanding access to fast, reliable internet while also helping our Gulf Coast neighbors in need.”
“Connections That Give Back” will run from Sept. 10 to Oct. 6. This initiative is part of Sparklight’s broader commitment to being a reliable neighbor and partner in the communities it serves.
