Sophia’s Wish to Walk Silent Auction

October 17th at the Ocean Springs Community Center 6pm-10pm

Featuring Jesse Hill’s live performer, open bar, Phoenicians, Split the Pot and a raffle

Sophia Nuchereno suffered a stroke in utero at 30 weeks, which led to abnormal growth development and brain bleeds.  At 6 months, she was diagnosed with Porencephaly (fluid-filled cavities in her brain), which led to the diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy.  Her parents, Meghan and Nick, have been aggressively seeking treatment for Sophia in order to provide her with the best quality of life possible.  They recently discovered that Sophia is a great candidate for a life changing surgery known as Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy – which will be THE surgery to help her walk independently one day.  It has shown huge success in giving patients just like Sophia the ability to walk.  According to her neurologist, without this surgery, she never will have that chance.  The surgery will be performed in St. Louis by the world-renowned surgeon Dr. T.S. Park.  Your participation in this fundraiser will help Sophia’s parents prepare for the tremendous financial burden of this life changing surgery and the many years of post-op therapy.

    Tickets $45 Purchase online at
    httpss://sophiaswishtowalksilentauction.eventbrite.com.

For questions or donation info, call Meghan (228) 365-1836.
