All are invited to Ocean Springs for the 45th annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival, set for Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5.

The Peter Anderson Festival, which is Mississippi’s largest arts and crafts festival, attracts over 150,000 people each year as nearly 400 artists travel from all over the country to the City of Discovery to show off and sell their work.

Vendors will line the downtown area each day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a whole slate of live music set up by the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce.

    Entertainment lineup

    Saturday, November 4 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

    • Saint Social – Grounds of Mary C. O’Keefe Center
    • Karate Kids – Washington/Government Street
    • Joe Carruba – Knuckleheads
    • Jessica Horton – The Pink Rooster
    • Kashus Culpepper – L&N Depot

The Peter Anderson Festival, named after the founder of Shearwater Pottery, started in 1978 with only a handful of artists and less than 50 booths. The crowd might be bigger today, but the spirit of the event remains the same and that is to share a passion for art and offer a tent-pole event for artists to reach buyers.

Whether you’re looking for Christmas gifts or just something special for you, the festival will have it all with contributing artists offering original pottery, metal sculpture, mixed media, jewelry, photography, and paintings. There will also be an expansive selection of yard art, metal works, and finely made candles and soaps.

The event is admission free, dog friendly, and will offer plenty of food and drink. Free parking is also available with shuttle service to help you get to and from the downtown area with ease. To learn more about the 2023 Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival, click here.
