Saturday February 2nd, 2019 will be an exciting day in Gautier. The Gautier High School/Middle School Baseball Dugout Club has organized an event to feature the new 2019 lineup of Players, Coaches, Gator Girls and Team Sponsors. “Meet the Team and Scrimmage” will commence at noon at the Gautier High School Baseball field located at the end of Gautier High School Road. Everyone is invited to attend this fun and free community event… that’s right FREE admission!

Bring a little ‘walking change’ as the concessions will be open and selling popcorn and baked goods. Also, available for purchase will be ‘good ole’ BBQ plates, complete with BBQ Chicken, Baked beans, Cole slaw, roll and southern iced tea – All for only $10 a plate. [Pre orders are accepted and encouraged, to pre order your yummy place just contact any Team Member or the Dugout Club Treasurer, Michele Thomas at: [email protected].

In attendance will be the High School players from grades 9 – 12; the Middle School players from grades 7 – 8, and the Gautier Little League Players will be on the field with all the teams for the national anthem. The Gautier Gators [#GatorBoys] are heavily involved in Gautier Community work. This past year service included manning the Salvation Army Red Kettles; operating a ‘dunking booth’ at the annual Gautier Mullet Festival and providing Christmas gift bags with snacks and Christmas cards to local retirees. These efforts not only enrich the community but broaden the experiences of the players.

Come on out and support the Gators in the Swamp, [behind the Gautier High School], have some family fun, learn about the teams and grab some mouth-watering BBQ. GO Gators! PS. For the 2019 schedule and more information on the Navy and Gold GHS teams just log onto www.gautierbsb.weebly.com.
