The Vibe Clothing Company promotes body positivity, family, faith, and fashion

“Your vibe attracts your tribe,” and it is that theory that this beloved and charming boutique based its shop upon. The Vibe Clothing Company in Hattiesburg seeks to bring the latest fashions to all women and embrace them as family rather than just customers.

That is how the Vibe family decided upon their name; Amanda Williamson, a member of the Vibe tribe and digital marketing specialist, said, “The name Vibe was meant to embody a woman finding her sense of self back, and also the Vibe Tribe embodies a sense of community and good vibes only.”

The Vibe Clothing Company was founded upon the notion of “rewriting the rules of women’s clothing” while bringing comfort to their stylish, affordable, body-friendly apparel. The venture to bring this gem of a shop to the “Hub City” has a beautiful legacy filled with lots of love, hope, and faith, brought to life by some powerful, determined women.

“Vibe Clothing Company started with a dream and lots and lots of prayer,” Williamson said. “After spending years in the formal wear industry, Heather began to notice a need that was not being met. Heather Thompson, our fierce and faithful leader, is a mother of four, a wife, and a BOSS BABE who loves Jesus and her VIBE TRIBE.”

Vibe owner Heather Thompson has been in the fashion industry her entire life. She began to observe a disturbing trend that, for many women going into a traditional boutique was highly discouraging. Thompson had discovered a missing sector of comfortable and fashionable clothing, and that got the wheels turning in Thompson’s brain. She had seen so many women get discouraged because they couldn’t find the perfect fit in the styles they wanted, leading to frustration and feelings of low self-esteem and body image. Heather was determined to stop that trend and bring fashionable styles encouraging women to embrace their unique and beautiful body shapes.

“So began ‘Heather’s Collection,'” Williamson said. “What started as a few racks inside her formal wear store in July 2017 turned into VIBE CLOTHING COMPANY. Vibe Clothing Company is a brand based on the principles of making all women feel beautiful no matter age, shape, size, or style.”

Focusing its spotlight on women ages 25 and up, Vibe is centered on dressing women’s bodies in boutique-style clothes. These styles are made for women’s bodies, not the fabricated images of the “perfect” body shapes and sizes that flood the media, that often make women feel bad about their bodies and self-image.

“We work closely with manufacturers and designers to ensure the best fit, quality, and comfortability for women,” Williamson said. “Heather ensures daily that the foundation of Vibe’s clothes maintains consistency—our shirts are a little longer, the arms a little roomier, and they fit a little flowier.”

It is time for women to embrace their bodies, and Vibe plays an extraordinary role in bringing gorgeous fashions for any occasion, making any woman feel like the goddess she truly is.

“Vibe is here to help ALL women, no matter their age or size, feel beautiful in their skin,” Williamson said.

“Vibe is a family-oriented business that treats their customers and employees like family,” Williamson said.

And that is precisely the “vibe” you feel when you visit this charming boutique or browse their extensive and exquisite line of clothing online. You feel like you’re shopping with good friends with a fashionable and artistic eye to guide you to the right ensemble.

The Vibe Clothing Company is acclaimed for the immense and much-appreciated niche they have brought to the fashion arena by being honored at the “20 under 40” Pinebelt Awards Banquet this past Spring.

As for future plans, Vibe is focusing on its e-commerce business and continuing to bring the most incredible selections of stylish clothing to even more shoppers. If you’re looking for the right outfit for that special occasion or just in the mood to shop, look no further than your friends at Vibe, where you will quickly become a member of the Vibe Tribe.

“If you come into the shop, you will get personal service that won’t be found in a department store,” Williamson said. “The ladies in the store will lift your spirits and pray over you before you leave. You will find comfortable clothing that will make you feel like you are on trend but won’t cost you a fortune.”

Visit the Vibe Clothing Company at 5180 Old Hwy 11, Suite 3 in Hattiesburg. Or check out their fashions online at their website at www.vibeclothingcompany.com. It’s a guarantee that you will not be disappointed!
