Flowers, chocolates, jewelry, and more. We have all your Valentine favorites right here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! Here are the best gifts to shop local this February.

    The French Potager

A locally owned flower shop in Bay St. Louis opened in 2012, French Potager is offering unique floral arrangements for Valentine’s Day. They specialize in using seasonal flowers and locally-grown products and are known for their seasonal blooms arranged in a cement lady head planter. Face pots, Mikasa ceramic blue and white canister, ceramic bamboo cache pot, and white chinoiserie pots are all different designs available for the holiday. Custom designs are also available. The French Potager delivers on the coast and surrounding areas. Located at 213 Main Street in Bay St. Louis. Visit online or their Facebook page for pricing, availability, and more information.

    Humane Society of South Mississippi

Who wouldn’t want a puppy or kitten for the universal holiday of love? HSSM is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary to adopt, however, adoptions are first-come, first serve. You must come to HSSM to complete your adoption and make sure you bring a photo ID as it’ll be required to complete adoption paperwork. Visit their website to learn more and to view animals currently available for adoption. Located at 2615 25th Avenue in Gulfport.

    La Passion Artisan Chocolates

Check out the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s local chocolatier, creating gourmet chocolates and gifts! La Passion offers a variety of chocolates, gifts, gift baskets and customized orders. Bring in your favorite wine or champagne and La Passion will make a custom gift basket complete with chocolate for an exquisite Valentine’s gift. Visit their Facebook for more information or to place an order. Located at 1116 Suite C Cowan Road in Gulfport.

    W.P. Shelton Jewelers

This locally owned jewelry shop has great Valentine’s finds. Shelton’s was founded in 1945 and is celebrating over 70 years in business. Pick out a Halo Diamond Necklace and choose between princess, emerald, or cushion cuts. All chains are sterling silver and measure 18 inches. Located at 1516 Government Street in Ocean Springs. Shop online or in store.

    Drinx Wine & Liquor Warehouse

Drinx has a great selection of wines, champagne and liquor to celebrate Valentine’s. Try Post Malone’s rose, Maison No. 9, which has notes of peaches, strawberry, and pineapple. Maison No. 9 is easily identifiable by its soft, light “Provencal Pink” color that shines through the sleek, slender, sustainable all-glass packaging. Located at 3821 Promenade Parkway in D’iberville. Visit their Facebook page for updates and new products.

Kate Spade in the Gulfport Outlets

Snag the bag that went viral on Tik Tok! The Kate Spade heart purse is the perfect Valentine’s Day accessory to wear out to dinner or your favorite Galentine’s Day celebration. Shop online or in store. Located at 10455 Factory Shop Blvd in Gulfport.

    Gabrielle’s Boutique
