Local Hattiesburg residents are often referred to as “Hattiesburgers,” and here’s a fun fact: They officially claimed this nickname in 2016. With an official nickname of “Hattiesburger,” it’s safe to say that this Pine Belt city knows a thing or two about a good burger!

Food trails have become widely popular throughout the U.S., and now there’s another one to add to the list! The HATTIES[BURGER] Trail, sponsored by Visit Hattiesburg, highlights local restaurants throughout the Hub City that offer delicious hamburgers on their regular menus.

There is a wide variety of burgers and other delicious food on this trail, which takes place in four geographic areas of Hattiesburg: The Avenues, Downtown, Midtown, and West Hattiesburg.

Robert St. John’s Crescent City and Ed’s Burger Joint are two of many local eateries featured on this savory burger path. With 33 locations featured, foodies can identify participating restaurants through a HATTIES[BURGER] Trail marker displayed at each restaurant’s entry. Every burger lover should know that they’re on the right path between the aroma of delicious food and the trail signs!

The HATTIES[BURGER] Trail is designed to be enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Participants can even rate their top five burgers on the Visit Hattiesburg trail map and brochure. Click here for the Official Brochure Trail.

Hattiesburg invites everybody to join the trail, tour Hattiesburg, and try their namesake food item. So, what are you waiting for? Hop on the trail and take a bite out of classics, gourmet, specialty burgers, and everything in between.

There’s a burger for everybody in Hattiesburg!
