The Meeting Place and Innovate Mississippi are excited to announce the official kick off of the 2024 MS Gulf Coast Regional Pitch Competition. Eight competitors from several different industries will compete this year.

    • Competitors work with a mentor for 2 practice rounds with feedback from judges at each level to prepare for the final competition.
    • Competition is open to the public at no cost with an audience participation component.
    • Competition will be held live via zoom from 1-4 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2023. Register online here.

“Creating a productive and supportive network for entrepreneurs is the heart of The Meeting Place’s mission. Last year, two of our competitors were invited to attend the CoBuilders Accelerator and were declared ‘investor ready’ upon completion. Two other companies have expanded since the competition and are doing extremely well!” said Geneva Dummer, founder of The Meeting Place.

This year, we will continue the educational experience for anyone who wants to learn more about the Pitch Process through Connect Gulf Coast — a hybrid platform where entrepreneurs can learn more about what investors are looking for and how to attract them as well as practice their presentations and try new things.
