The New England Patriots are set to take on the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday’s Super Bowl LX showdown. The Super Bowl is expected to be watched by around 130 million people worldwide, with 1 in 4 Americans being more interested in the food than the actual game. The Super Bowl is considered the second-largest eating day of the year, with billions spent on wings, dips, and snacks, making it crucial for party hosts.

Dips are arguably one of the most delicious staples of a Super Bowl party, acting as the ultimate, versatile finger food. Dips encourage grazing, require no utensils, and allow guests to keep their eyes on the game.

Elevate your Super Bowl party with a “Dip Dip Hooray” theme, featuring crowd-pleasing, easy-to-make dips that pair well with tortilla chips, crackers, or vegetables for the ultimate game-day snacking experience.

    Cottage Cheese Queso

This Dairy Alliance viral queso gets its creamy texture from blended cottage cheese.  It serves up 14 grams of protein per half-cup serving. Compare that to a half-cup serving of regular queso, which typically contains 20 to 28 grams of fat, and only 8 grams of protein, depending on whether it is a shelf-stable, store-bought variety or a fresh, restaurant-style cheese dip.

Cottage cheese is the real MVP here, providing a rich source of high-quality protein! It’s also great for those seeking the benefits of dairy with less lactose.

    Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of cottage cheese

    2 teaspoons of taco seasoning

1/4 cup canned tomatoes and green chilies

    Shredded cheese, for topping

    Instructions

Blend cottage cheese and taco seasoning in a blender until smooth.

Place the blended mixture in a microwave-safe dish, sprinkle with cheese, and microwave for 60 seconds. Add in tomatoes and green chilies.

Microwave again with more shredded cheese on top. Serve with tortilla chips or veggies.

    Pesto Ranch Dip

Ranch dip and dressing officially surpassed ketchup in 2024 to become America’s favorite condiment. But traditional ranch can pack a punch in terms of added fat and calories. Two tablespoons (a standard serving) of traditional ranch dressing generally contain between 110 and 145 calories, usually with 12-14 grams of fat.

Punt unnecessary calories away with this creamy Pesto Ranch Dip, which blends the herby flavors of pesto with the cool, tangy goodness of ranch. Made with Greek yogurt, which is packed with protein, calcium, and probiotics that support gut health, with half the fat and calories per serving. Pairs well with anything from vegetables to chicken wings.

    Ingredients

    2 cups fresh basil leaves

    ½ cup pine nuts

    2 Tablespoons garlic, minced

    ⅓ cup olive oil

    1 ½ teaspoon lemon juice

    ¼ teaspoon salt

    1 cup plain Greek yogurt

    1 teaspoon dried dill

    1 teaspoon onion powder

    1 teaspoon dried parsley

    ¼ cup whole milk

    Instructions

To a food processor, add basil, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, Greek yogurt, dill, onion powder, and parsley. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Slowly add milk until the dip reaches your desired thickness.

Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

    Hot Muffuletta Dip

Score extra points and bring a taste of Mardi Gras to your Super Bowl Party with a hot, cheesy Muffuletta Dip, featuring a savory blend of diced salami, ham, provolone, and tangy olive salad. This easy-to-make, creamy appetizer—perfect for game-day snacking—is best served warm with toasted French bread slices.

    Ingredients

    6 oz pitted green olives

    ½ cup roasted red pepper

    ½ cup giardiniera

    8 oz cream cheese, softened

    1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup of salami cut into small cubes

4 oz provolone cheese, cut into small cubes

    1 tablespoon grated mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely minced, for garnish

    Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Place the olives, roasted red pepper, and drained giardiniera (discard any pickles) in a food processor fitted with a steel blade, and process until everything is coarsely chopped.

Place this mixture in a bowl with the softened cream cheese, salami, and provolone, and mix until well combined.

Pour this mixture into an oven-safe dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray and top with the mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

You can make this dip ahead. Just cover it unbaked, and refrigerate until you are ready.
