Pascagoula-Gautier School Superintendent Wayne Rodolfich visited 592 classes and learning spaces in 19 facilities across two cities Friday as he welcomed students and teachers back to school for the first day of classes. Rodolfich started his morning at 7:15 a.m. at Martin Bluff Elementary School in Gautier and logged in 20,013 steps or 8.4 miles during the next 6 hours and 45 minutes before finishing up at Colmer Middle School in Pascagoula. Assistant Supt. of Secondary Education Boyd West accompanied Supt. Rodolfich step-for-step on his trek across the district. Rodolfich is pictured with Assistant Supt. Boyd West and Colmer Middle Principal Dr. Myrick Nicks, as he speaks to Colmer Middle School band students, his last class to visit for the day.
