The Ion endoluminal system is a robotic-assisted platform designed for minimally invasive biopsy procedures within the lung. To celebrate this milestone, the public is invited to attend an open house at Ocean Springs Hospital on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 10 a.m. Dr. Babar, a renowned pulmonologist at Singing River, will discuss the biopsy and treatment options for lung nodules using the Ion robot. Additionally, an unveiling of the name selected by the Ocean Springs School District robotics team will be revealed, along with a live robot demonstration.
