Resurrection Catholic School (RCS) will host its annual Fish Fry dinners on Friday nights during the Lenten season, beginning Friday, March 8.

Fish Fry dinners will be held in the Cafeteria at RCS’s elementary campus located at 3704 Quinn Drive in Pascagoula from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. every Friday during Lent, except for April 5. Guests are invited to feast on a variety of seafood including fried fish plates, fried shrimp plates, shrimp spaghetti, and gumbo as well as sides and desserts while enjoying fellowship and music.

This year patrons will be able to pre-order to-go plates by calling or texting Lalinda Grace at 228-623-0919 before 2pm on Wednesday. To-go plates will be available for pick up from 5 – 7 p.m. in front of Delmas Hall on Martin Street.

Dine-in and to-go plates cost $8 each and include dessert. Dine-in plates also include tea or lemonade. Beer and wine will be available by donation. For children and those not in the mood for seafood, pizza will be offered for $2 per slice. Lastly, gumbo will be available at $8 per pint and $20 per quart.

“I have had the opportunity to work on the Fish Fry committee for two years, and now I am honored to have the position of Chairman in my third year. People continue to tell me how much they enjoy the fellowship and support for our school that the annual Fish Fry dinners bring. I know first-hand the hard work that goes into putting this together. We would not be where we are without the continued support from our wonderful school family, generous sponsors and loyal community. Thank you! We plan to make this a great year!” said Lauren O’Brien, RCS parent and 2019 Fish Fry Chairman.

The Fish Fry is one of RCS’s major annual fundraisers. All proceeds from the Fish Fry dinners will benefit RCS. For more information or to sponsor the Fish Fry, contact Lauren O’Brien at 228-218-0228 or [email protected].

RCS and its legacy schools, including Our Lady of Victories, Sacred Heart and St. Peter’s, have been providing Catholic education in Pascagoula for over 135 years. Currently RCS serves students in Pre-K3 through 12th grade and is fully accredited by the State of Mississippi Department of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Advance-Ed. RCS is now accepting new students for the 2019/2020 school year.

For a tour or more information, contact Noah Hamilton, President/Principal at 228-762-3353 or [email protected].
