Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is excited to announce the expansion of its no-cost, tuition-free, and fee-free programs for eligible participants, thanks to the BP Restore Act Grant provided through the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality and the Department of Treasury. These programs are designed to meet the high-demand, high-paying career needs of local industries in South Mississippi.
“MGCCC is using these grant funds to reduce the cost for more than 25 credit programs, and we are so excited to offer training to individuals interested in one of these high-demand, high-paying careers in local industry,” said Casey Covacevich, Director of Innovative Administration. “This initiative will help equip our community with the skills and qualifications needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.”

1. Gulf Coast Work Ready:
- Programs: Cosmetology, Commercial Truck Driving, Heavy Equipment Operation, Maritime Multicraft Technology, Massage Therapy, and Unmanned Maritime Systems
