    Adventurous Activities

    1. Zip ‘N Fun Adventure Park

Website: https://zipnfun.com/ This is an adventure park where you can enjoy a ropes course and zipline! There is a tree top adventure course that has 50 challenging games and obstacles that include sky bridges and zipline. This course takes 2 and a half hours to complete; however, you can stop midway if you do not want to complete all the challenges. There is also a junior adventure course for those that are below 60 inches tall. For this course, there are 20 challenges, and it takes approximately 1 hour to complete. There is a 30-minute safety school that is required before anyone completes any of the courses.

    2. Hint Hunter Puzzle Rooms

Website: www.hinthunter.net/ The adventure starts in a specifically themed room where you and your friends attempt to solve several puzzles and riddles that are solved by using hints, clues, and strategy.  It takes approximately 30-60 minutes to escape the room depending on the chosen escape room. There may be one escape room or there may be multiple that you have to try to escape from by solving puzzles. There are 4 different escape rooms, one of which is named “Submerged.” For this room, the goal is to “unlock the mystery to discovering a mystical relic said to grant good fortune”. *Photo Courtesy of facebook.com/shipislandexcursions

I am married, and I also have a 4-year-old daughter. I earned my Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, and I have been teaching psychology classes over the past 10 years. As a professor and as a parent, I grew to love learning anything about child development. I recently turned that into a passion for helping other parents by starting my own blog at http://www.nurturingtamra.com.
