The Bay Fest will be held May 30, bringing local artists and food vendors to Old Town Bay St. Louis in support of charities along the coast.

The Bay Fest is a community street fair that aims to celebrate Gulf Coast creativity, cuisine and small businesses.

“A portion of event proceeds benefits local charities, including BYOBikes,” event organizers said.

BYOBikes is a nonprofit that donates bikes to children in need in New Orleans and Mississippi Gulf Coast communities.

The festival will feature local, handcrafted artwork, regional food and live music throughout the downtown area.

“We believe that food is a universal language that can bring people together and create a sense of community,” event organizers said.
