HUBFEST Returns to Hattiesburg this Weekend

Downtown Hattiesburg will be celebrating the 35th anniversary and the return of HUBFEST this Saturday, March 26.

Since 1985, The Hub City has hosted the region’s largest premier arts and music festival. With four music stages and over 250 arts and crafts booths, this festival attracts tens of thousands of guests to the greater Hattiesburg area each year. The annual event takes place in beautiful downtown Hattiesburg, and locals and visitors alike look forward to attending every March.

HUBFEST encompasses four major components to meet the desires and interests of every festival guest—art, music, food, and fun!

In addition to hundreds of crafts, the festival also features several local businesses, and services that can be found throughout the rest of downtown Hattiesburg.

If you’re looking for something for younger children to do, HUBFEST also features a Children’s Village on Front Street. Additionally, there are several free, fun, and family-friendly things to do for all ages, all day long.

The one-day festival runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free to the public, except for the children’s area, which requires a $10 fee for unlimited all-day play. From face painting to bouncy houses and balloon animals, children will have a great time at HUBFEST! Due to large crowds, pets are not permitted within festival boundaries.

The quality of food and entertainment are typically the standard measure of success for festivals. HUBFEST does not disappoint! HUBFEST offers everything from favorite local dishes to traditional festival treats. With two outdoor food courts conveniently located near live music venues, you will be entertained by headlining acts that are currently making regional or national headlines.

Add HUBFEST to your weekend plans; The Hub City is ready for you!
