You can feel the magic of Christmas right around the corner, and everyone is getting ready for the Holly Jolly Season. To bring even more good cheer to the season, the 10th Annual Pinebelt Holiday Expo and Christmas Market will feature a ton of great selections for your annual Christmas shopping, great food, and so much more on November 20, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The history of the decade celebration of this wonderful event began as a brainchild to help showcase the talented artists and craftsmen in the area. Jennifer Clark and her business, Emerge Events, spearheaded the event to bring attention to the talent in the area and the so many great foods that will get you into the holiday season.

“At the request of local vendors to create a local holiday market for them to share their local products, the Pine Belt Holiday Expo and Christmas Market was created,” Jennifer Clark said “After a few years, I moved it to downtown where it has been every year since. We want to bring people to downtown Hattiesburg to shop at the Expo and then explore the area while they’re there.”

This year, Clark said that they have a listing of over 80 vendors, which can be found on the event’s website. The event will be held at the Hattiesburg Train Depot.

You’ll find beautiful jewelry and accessories, monogrammed and personalized items, Handmade totes, handbags, backs, children and boutique clothing, handmade blankets and quilts, and homemade knitted items, holiday décor, garland, and wreaths, handmade Christmas ornaments, pottery, books, handmade greeting cards and so much more.

After shopping till you drop, you’ll have plenty of great choices to enjoy. Try some of Serenity Delights Jams and Jellies and Toby’s Sub where you love their subs, tacos, nachos, hamburgers, hot dogs, and funnel fries. Plus, there will be plenty more tasty bites to try. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed.

“We have something for everyone’s shopping list!” Clark continued. ‘’We will also have food trucks, a blood drive, and Santa photos! And the best thing, the event is free to attend.”

You can also donate blood at the Holiday Expo if you choose to do so.

This free event is always a fun day in the Hub City and has become a family tradition for so many, including my own.

So, come on out and enjoy all the beautiful festivities and decorations throughout the Expo and downtown Hattiesburg. Get a head start on your Christmas shopping to find that special and unique present for that someone special.
