Free open-air concert will feature dancers from across the United States
WHAT:
Belhaven University will host a free open-air dance concert as part of Project Dance Jackson. The event will feature local and national artists performing ballet, jazz, modern dance, hip-hop, tap, and other dance styles.
A special “flash mob” performance will take place every hour on the hour, providing energetic and visually engaging opportunities for television footage, photography, and social media coverage.

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Project Dance Jackson is a three-day event hosted by Belhaven University that brings together dance students and professionals for performances, master classes, an industry expo, auditions, inspirational gatherings, and networking opportunities.
Project Dance has appeared in more than 30 cities worldwide, including London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, Toronto, and New York City. Jackson is one of six host cities in 2026, joining Buenos Aires, Houston, New York, Paris, and Atlanta.
The open-air concert is free and open to the public.
