Nothing screams “fall” in Mississippi like fall festivals. Many churches, cities, and various other establishments host fall festivals to celebrate the changing of the season. Mississippi is never short on fall festivals. If you’re not sure where to start looking, keep reading for three fall festivals to attend in Mississippi.

    14th Annual Mississippi Peanut Festival

Located in Collins, Mississippi, the Annual Peanut Festival is a time capsule for attendees to enjoy. Your time travel includes a working farm where you’ll find many vendors to support, a thorough tour of the farm, and interacting with people who come from all over the state. Additionally, if you’re a fan of peanuts and Coca-Cola, you’ll want to find yourself here. This is a two-day long event starting October 5, 2024 through October 6, 2024. Tickets are 20.00 per person two years old and older. To find out more about the Peanut Festival, visit this link.

    Fall Into Tupelo Fall Fest

This festival is two days long, starting on October 4, 2024 at 5:00 PM through October 5, 2024 at 4:00 PM. Tickets are 10.00 per person. The Chili Fest will kick off the two day event on October 4 at 5:00. Make sure you vote for your favorite chili team afterwards. In addition to the chili fest, there will be live music that you don’t want to miss. Make sure you’ve warmed up your vocal chords for an evening of singing along. The following day, October 5 from 12:00 PM through 4:00 PM, will be packed with activities for you and your family to participate in. Lean into your inner artist for the pumpkin painting session. Bring your children to enjoy the inflatables. You can learn more about this event here.

    Hello Fall Festival and Market

Ocean Springs will be bringing in the fall season with their Hello Fall Festival and Market. Join Ocean Springs locals for a day filled with music, fun, activities, and food. This event will take place on September 28, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 2:00 PM. Besides the other intriguing reasons to attend, this event is free of charge!
