Step into a world of fantasy and wonder as “Fairytales on Ice” brings “Peter and Wendy’s Adventures” to the Hattiesburg Saenger Theater on March 28. You’ll be transported into the pages of your favorite fairytales and will be treated to an evening of fun and adventure. There will be pirates, lost boys, mermaids, a touch of pixie dust, and lots of fun for the whole family.

“We have been re-creating famous fairytales for seven years now and love bringing magic to towns across the country and internationally,” Alex Wilfand of Ice Creative Entertainment said.

“Fairytales on Ice” is an enchanting mixture of “the artistry of professional ice skating, with live singing, and cirque.” Peter Pan will take you on a trip to Neverland like never before, and there will be plenty of adventure and fun along the way.

The beloved story of the boy who never wanted to grow up is brought to new life with a modern twist, including a new take on this timeless tale, a modern soundtrack, and the excitement of professional ice skating. The show features a cast of world-champion ice skaters who will amaze you with their exquisite execution of jumps, spins, and choreography. The set and scenery are beautiful and vivid, and the stunning costumes add to the magic and wonder of this enchanted world.

“We started on this tour in February and have done 22 shows so far, and the reception from the audiences has been amazing,” Wilfand said. “Both kids and adults enjoy the immersive quality and feel like they are part of the show.”

Peter Pan will lead the crowd into a world of fantasy and adventure as they encounter ferocious pirates, charming mermaids, and other iconic fairytale characters. In this modern retelling, the show’s creators have created an ingenious tale that has woven the characters of other beloved stories in exquisite fashion into this tale, making sure that the “magic of each character shines brightly.”

You’ll be captivated by the cast of “Fairytales on Ice” as they combine “artistry, athleticism, and storytelling” that will have you on the edge of your seat, awaiting each breathtaking moment. With each brilliant and captivating twirl and leap, you’ll truly be transported to Neverland as this retelling will bring lots of adventure and excitement while also tugging at your heartstrings.

“There is something in the show for all ages from juggling on ice to princesses and lots of adventure,” Alex said. “We promise to bring an enchanting show that will be the highlight of the year.”

“Peter Pan and Wendy’s Adventures” is perfect for fans of figure skating and is perfect for an enchanted evening out with the family and your loved ones. There is truly something that everyone will enjoy in this spectacular production.

“Guests can expect to escape reality for 90 minutes and see some real fairy tale magic,” Wilfand said.

Don’t miss out on the magic of this fantastic adventure that will truly transport everyone “to a world where dreams take flight, and the wonder of childhood never fades.” This is one performance that you do not want to miss. Wilfand offers a special greeting to the Hub City and all lovers of magic, adventure, fairytales, and fantasy.

“Come join us for an unforgettable evening,” Wilfand said.

“Fairytales on Ice” takes the stage at Saenger Theater in Hattiesburg on Thursday, March 28, at 7:30. For more information on this amazing show and to buy tickets, click here.
