Break out the polyester, dust off those platform shoes, and get ready to boogie—because Gulfport’s TrainTastic is turning back the clock for a night of disco, drama, and a little bit of detective work. Murder at the Disco: A 1970s Prom-Themed Murder Mystery Dinner Show takes the stage Friday, September 12, 2025, from 6:15 to 9:30 p.m.

Guests ages 13 and up will be transported straight into a groovy prom night, where bell-bottoms and mirror balls set the scene for a deadly twist. Performed by Alexis Theatre Productions, this live, interactive mystery invites the audience to join the investigation. Guests will question suspects, track down clues, and work together to solve the crime—before the last dance is called.

And what’s prom without great food and a little friendly competition? The evening includes a three-course dinner prepared by Simply Seafood Catering LLC, a cash bar, and a costume contest for the best ’70s prom look. Expect some seriously fun fashion throwbacks!

Tickets are $65 for individuals and $120 for couples, with advance purchase required due to limited seating. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the show begins at 7:00 p.m.

“This combines the fun of a murder mystery with the flair of the disco era and the unique train-themed fun we’re known for,” said Tabitha Barnes, Director of Sales & Events at TrainTastic. “We’re all about interactive experiences, and this night is no different—it’s one you won’t forget.”

Whether you’re a fan of murder mysteries, love a reason to dress up, or just want a unique night out on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Murder at the Disco promises a mix of fun, food, and a dash of intrigue.

Tickets are on sale now at TrainTastic.com.
