The Perry County School District Education Foundation will host a car show and fish fry fundraising event Saturday, April 25, at McCoy Park in New Augusta.
Car registration will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The registration fee for vehicles is $25.
Fish plates will be available beginning at 10:30 a.m. Plates cost $15 and include four fillet strips, hush puppies, two sides — potato salad, baked beans or coleslaw — along with bread, dessert and a drink.
Car show judging is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. The event will conclude at 3 p.m.
According to the organization, the Perry County School District Education Foundation’s mission is to nurture the success of Perry County School District students by providing lasting support, resources and opportunities that help them grow, thrive and reach their fullest potential.
