On September 23, 2010 local women business owners came together to create a group designed to support women business owners and entrepreneurs in the Pine Belt and surrounding areas. Through educational meetings and networking events, the Women Business Owners of the Pine Belt (WBOPB) provides opportunities for personal, professional and business development, aiming to uplift and empower women business owners so they can thrive, therefore positively impacting their businesses and communities.
“It’s an unselfish tribe of women who are all about collaboration, resilience and empowerment! Our mission to empower ourselves is fulfilled through helping each other” said Elizabeth Corley, WBOPB president.
The WBOPB provides access to a community of fellow women business owners, opportunities to attend monthly educational meetings and socials, professional and personal development and more.
