    Vancleave Library offers Unique Crochet Club class

    The Vancleave Public Library will host Unique Crochet Club class on Monday, December 9, from 1 until 3 p.m. in the library meeting room. Other classes in the month will be December 16, 23, and 30.

    Patrons will learn with instructor Teresa Busby as she teaches free basic classes for the beginning student. Learn the fundamentals and become empowered to crochet with confidence. This club is for those age 15 and over. There is a $5 fee for supplies or you may bring your own. Supplies needed are yarn and a crochet hook. Registration is required as seating and supplies are limited.

    Moss Point Library offers Ho Ho Home Decor Crafts

    The Ina Thompson Moss Point Library will offer Ho- Ho- Home Decor crafts on Tuesday, December 10, beginning at 3:30 p.m., until 5 p.m.

    There’s no place like home for the holidays, so make it a little more like home. Angela George from William Carey University will be leading this wonderful crafting experience just in time to make things merry and bright. Create a personalized 6” x 6” plaque, perfect for gift giving or sprucing up any holiday décor.

    Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Moss Point Library. Please call 228-475-7462 and reserve a session. Seating is very limited and will fill up quickly. The library is located at 4119 Bellview Street near downtown.

    Bedtime Storytime with Santa scheduled at Pascagoula Library

    The Pascagoula Public Library will host Bedtime Storytime with Santa on Tuesday, December 10, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the children’s area.

    Families and friends are invited to visit the library and take photos. Santa will be taking time out of his busy schedule to join us. Children may wear favorite PJs and bring a snuggly plush animal.  Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Pascagoula Library.

    St. Martin Library to host Secret Santa Workshop for kids

    The St. Martin Library will host a special Secret Santa Gift Workshop on Tuesday, December 10, from 4 to 6 p.m., in the meeting room for children.

    Kids, grades one through six, are invited to make Christmas Gifts for family and friends in the meeting room. All crafting supplies will be provided by the Friends of the St. Martin Library. Children must be accompanied by an adult as supervision may be required.

    Moss Point Library offers Color Me Christmas Ornaments

    The Ina Thompson Moss Point Library will offer Color Me Christmas Ornament crafts on Tuesday, December 17, beginning at 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. To remember this Christmas, make your own glowing tree ornaments!  Bring the holiday into your home with this fun, adorable Christmas ornament. Refreshments and supplies will be provided by the Friends of the Moss Point Library.

    Enjoy Crafts and Cocoa at the Ocean Springs Library

    The Ocean Springs Municipal Library will offer Crafts and Cocoa for families on Thursday, December 19, starting at 6 p.m., in the meeting room.

    Get ready for the holidays and paint a wooden holiday ornament in the meeting room.  Enjoy a cup of cocoa and cookies to snack on while you make your own decoration to take home. All supplies will be furnished. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

    Refreshments will be served. To sign up or for more information, call the library at 228-875-1193. The Ocean Springs library is located at 525 Dewey Avenue, behind City Hall.

    St. Martin Library offers Family Ornament Decorating

    The St. Martin Public Library will offer Family Ornament Decorating on Thursday, December 19, beginning at 3 p.m., in the meeting room.

    Families and children are invited to this fun craft event. Bring your creativity and make an ornament to celebrate the Holidays. All supplies provided by the Friends of the St. Martin Public Library.

    Registration is required by calling 228-392-3250. Refreshments are provided. For more information, call the library or visit at 15004 Lemoyne Boulevard next to the community center.
