Rockette-style dancers highlight all-star cast of singers, actors and Christmas characters in MGM Resorts International’s holiday production show

The producer that brought Beau Rivage Christmas Dreams, The Holiday Ice Spectacular and Santa & Friends now delivers Christmas in the Air, Dec. 14-27 in the Beau Rivage Theatre. This ‘snow globe come to life’ holiday spectacular features a 26-person cast of synchronized, high-kicking, Rockette-style dancers, world-class singers, veteran TV and film actors and special appearances from Santa, his elves and several of their well-known pals.

“I am thrilled to be collaborating with Beau Rivage again and continuing to build on the wonderful family holiday tradition that the Beau delivers every year,” said Rand Enterprises & Productions President and Executive Producer Jeb K. Rand. “Christmas in the Air is a real-life holiday greeting card directly from Beau Rivage to its guests. This show has something to fulfill everyone’s Christmas entertainment wishes.”

Christmas in the Air is a first-class Broadway-style song and dance review, wrapped up within a warm, fun and feel-good holiday storyline, told by Santa’s favorite elves. The show delivers the perfect mix of classic holiday melodies and modern-day favorites, highlighting a dazzling group of precision dancers, that audiences must see to believe. With the support of wonderful live singers, interactive actors, incredible costuming and scenic elements, and fun audience participation segments, Christmas in the Air delivers something for every family member to enjoy, including a guaranteed snowfall at every performance.

The show is created, produced and directed by internationally known Las Vegas producer Jeb K. Rand. Rand’s entertainment career spans more than 30 years, first as a U.S. figure skating team member, then as a lead performer with renowned productions around the globe. Since 1996, he has created, directed and produced acclaimed shows, from Off-Broadway to productions in 16 different countries. He spent eight years in New York City at Radio City Music Hall with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the Rockettes. Rand has assembled a second-to-none production team for Christmas in the Air, with more than 50 years of combined experience directly working with Radio City and the Rockette shows.

New York-based director, choreographer and veteran Radio City Rockette Ann Cooley is the show’s lead choreographer. In addition to performing with the world-famous troupe for more than a decade, Cooley has crafted content and choreography for Radio City Productions, Madison Square Garden Productions, a multitude of commercial musical theatre productions, as well as national and international tours worldwide.

Tickets for Christmas in the Air are $12.95, $16.95, $22.95 and $29.95 plus tax and facility fees and may be purchased at www.beaurivage.com or by calling 888.566.7469.
