Travelers and locals to the Ocean Springs Visitors Center have tasted and voted for their favorite king cake treat of the season. Sugar Tribe Sweets & Events, bakery has been awarded as the best king cake for 2024.
Throughout Mardi Gras season, the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau hosted a king cake contest encouraging travelers to the Ocean Springs Visitors Center to taste king cake treats each day and vote for their tastiest treat.
“The goal of the contest was to help educate travelers about the Mardi Gras season and what better way to get the conversation going than letting them taste a variety of king cakes,” says Cynthia Sutton CEO of the Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau.
Congratulations to Sugar Tribe located at 2961 Bienville Boulevard. A certificate was presented to the team at Sugar Tribe as the winner of the 2024 Ocean Springs King Cake Contest. The contest was sponsored by the Ocean Springs Chamber-Main Street.
