BILOXI – Country music superstar Clint Black is in his fourth season of hosting “Talking in Circles” on the Circle TV Network.

But the Grammy Award winner is still on the road bringing his many number-one hits to fans all across the country, and he brings his latest tour to South Mississippi this weekend.

Black rides into Biloxi Saturday night for his “Summer’s Coming” Tour, where he hits the stage at Hard Rock Casino’s “Live” venue for a show that begins at 8 p.m. There are some tix left at both ticketmaster.com as well as at the Hard Rock Live box office.

Black took to social media to announce the latest tour with fans several months ago.

“Summer’s Comin’… and we’re comin’ to a city near you! New tour dates just announced and more being added,” he wrote on Facebook.

The trek kicked off in early June at the Cohen Community Series event in Overland Park, Kansas, and will extend throughout the rest of the year before wrapping up three days after Christmas in Oklahoma.

In all, Black will have hit over 50 cities on the sixth month-long tour.

With over 20 million records sold, 22 career number-one singles, and numerous prestigious awards, including a Grammy win and nine other Grammy nominations, Black’s storied career has left an indelible mark on the country music genre. From his humble beginnings on the Texas nightclub circuit to his 12th studio album, “Out of Sane”, Black’s self-produced record continues to honor Country music’s roots while embracing contemporary sensibilities.

The veteran of many years on the road understands that people consume music in the real world; but to create something that endures, a whole lot of lab time is required.

“I have a studio on my property, so I can walk out there and never finish working because I have this passion for it.” Black said on his website. “But so many hours can drive me insane: I don’t sleep, I’m exhausted and completely consumed. It’s like a radio that clicks on in my sleep, to get up and get back to work.”

His is one of the most storied careers in modern music. Black surged to superstardom as part of the fabled “Class of ’89”, reaching the top of the charts with five consecutive singles from his triple-platinum debut, Killin’ Time. He followed that with the triple-platinum Put Yourself in My Shoes, and then a string of platinum and gold albums throughout the ’90s. Perhaps most impressively, Clint wrote or co-wrote every one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including “A Better Man,” “Killin’ Time,” “When My Ship Comes In,” “A Good Run of Bad Luck,” “Summer’s Comin’,” “Like the Rain” and “Nothin’ But the Taillights,” part of a catalog that produced 22 number one singles and made him one of the most successful singer/songwriters of the modern era.

Along the way, Clint has sold over 20 million records, earned more than a dozen gold and platinum awards in the U.S. and Canada including that Grammy, landed nearly two dozen major awards and nominations from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition to touring throughout North America, Clint hosts his own television talk show “Talking In Circles” on Circle TV.
