It will be an exceptional weekend of professional golf with 78 of the top players of the Champions Tour slated to participate. Even if you don’t follow professional golf, the seasoned athletes’ level of play and the beautiful golf course will make for a fun day.
A little about the pristine Grand Bear Golf Club: This professional course was designed by World Golf Hall of Fame player Jack Nicklaus. It is ranked the second-best course in the state of Mississippi. The layout stretches over 7,200 yards surrounded by towering pines and majestic cypress wetlands.

The players are gracious and often say hello to fans at this intimate tournament setting. The pros enjoy the low-key tone of the event and take time to thank the fans. I had the pleasure of meeting John Daly and Miguel Angel Jimenez snagging autographs.
